This is a replica of the 1835 hymn book that Emma Smith prepared (as directed in D&C 25:11), and which was published in 1835, in time to be used at the dedication of the Kirtland Temple in 1836.  The book is small (2 3/4″  wide x  4 1/4″ high, and about 5/8″ thick) containing 127 pages.  There are no musical notes shown in the book.  The paper pasted to the inside covers (front and back) is the same pattern selected by Emma in the first hymn book.  The book includes “The Spirit of God Like a Fire Is Burning” (the last hymn), and “Know This, That Every Soul Is Free”  (the first hymn).  $22.95.
