Callister analyzes several important political/legal issues that America faces today.  He addresses the issues of abortion, religious liberty, birth control, and other polarizing issues.  This book is important because it addresses issues that General Authorities typically avoid.   But after being put on emeritus status, I believe Brother Callister feels free to address these important issues.  It is refreshing and informative to get Brother Callister’s views.  America’s Choice (2022) addressed to a general audience, while his book America’s Destiny (2023) has been edited to offer additional insights and references that will be important to LDS readers.  America’s Choice Hardback–$34.95.
